Greetings backers! 

Today we just wanted to go through some of the parts of Fjord Serpents - Vikings at War that we have been concentrating on this month. 

MANUFACTURING

We are currently in the process of getting prototype models from our manufacturer so we can make sure the quality is on-point and we can move to the actual printing. We will post some examples when received. 

RULEBOOK

This has been an ongoing thing we have been working on continuously over the last few months. There have been a number of delays, but ATM we are about 75% of the way through editing and publishing.

PAINTING

We are currently painting models for use within the rulebook. 

Below is an example of some of the Heroes:

POSTAGE

With backerkit closed and charged, the postage will be the final charge. It will be arranged through backerkit and you will be notified closer to manufacturing. The manufacturer has an extensive distribution network and postage is very reasonable in the scheme of things. 

This is an estimated example of postage as stated by the manufacturer (it is a guide only and needs to be confirmed when weight of boxes is confirmed:) The shipping cost to European countries and Australia is $35 per parcel. The shipping cost to USA, Canada, Mexico, is $40 per parcel. And to Asia countries such as Japan, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, is $20 per parcel.

How to create a fleet in Fjord Serpents - Vikings at War

With the rulebook nearing completion and publishing, I wanted to take the time to do a video going through how to make a fleet. In it you will see the process, faction boons, leader creation and costings for the fleet itself. 

I make a sample fleet so you can see how it works throughout the video. 

Next, I just made a basic video on quick play rules (excluding leaders and advanced ones). It just shows many of the mechanics and collisions that happen during game play. 

I will be able to share more videos about various aspects of the game soon, and hopefully run some batreps as well.

Queensland conventions - a great success

We just wanted to share some photos from the recent conventions held here in Queensland Australia over the last couple of months. 

Both were successful in different ways:

- Briscon was a great place to meet backers, make new ones and generally get the word out. 

- TabletopCon was all about playing the game and running demos and making trade contacts. 

Both were great for Fjord Serpents - Vikings at War. 

Thanks to all the backers that came out to say hi, have a demo game and get involved from Queensland. It was a pleasure to meet you all. 

Our next stop will probably be NSW at MOAB and potentially demos being run in Melbourne at PAX later in the year.

Heroes of Fjord Serpents

With pre-production rounding out I wanted to give you guys a glimpse of the Heroes that are available from the Heroes & Kings booster pack. The rules of which will be in the main rulebook. 

Check it out, pretty insane for 10mm....

This is just a glimpse of the works near complete, with a few minor tweaks incoming. Loving the direction of them and we will have a couple of famous kings models to round out the set. 

The pledge manager will be open until the end of the month if you are interested, then we will be closing it off for production. 

We hope to have a .pdf cut-down version of the rulebook and fleet creation information to you very soon as the rulesbook is being proofed and edited as we speak.
