Project Success, Stretch Goal Unlocked & Immediate Post Project Information

Hammer of the North would like to thank each and every one of you for your support of the FJORD SERPENTS - Vikings at War Kickstarter. You guys really came through for us and we wanted to say that we appreciate it. 

There are a number of things we would like to go over now that the project has reached its conclusion: 

Stretch Goal Unlocked! - The 45k stretch goal was unlocked within the final seconds of the campaign. This will give a boxed set upgrade, which will now include game and scenario reference cards. This is an awesome addition to the standard game, thank you all (and to that legend that put that last second pledge in!). 

Post Pledge Management - We will be opening up the post pledge management within the next few days so that backers can:

- Upgrade their $1 holding pledges

- Upgrade their pledge levels if so inclined. 

- Add more 'Add-ons' to their existing pledge

* By backer request

Post Project Campaign - Because of Xmas and the new year holidays, we are getting word from a lot of people that missed out on the campaign. We would like to extend the campaign to these potential late buyers through Indiegogo (as it can be done with an extendable time limit and no set funding goal). 

This will have nothing to do with the Kickstarter backers, and the Early Bird pledge will not be available to Indiegogo late backers. Kickstarter backers will also receive product fulfilment and shipping priority. 

So, if you know someone that missed out, this might be a good option for them. I will keep you guys informed on this one and post link soon. 

Postage - As stated through your pledges, postage will be collected separately (through our pledge management program). We are currently looking at Distribution centres in USA, UK / Europe and Australia. We are going to undertake every effort to make it as cheap as it can be to backers. Stay tuned for news on this. 

Other General Project News - The final artworks for the rulebook are coming in during the next 2 weeks, and I have approved the sketches for them. 

I have also scheduled a meeting on Monday with the main sculptor for the project and will be finalising our plan to get everything ready for manufacturing. This will include a number of tweaks and upgrades to current models, plus the creation of any stretch add-on models. Stay tuned, for this is super exciting.

STRETCH UPDATES - 48 hours from projects end

Greetings Backers, 

Just a quick update as we are 48 hours out from the projects end. 

First, thank you all so much for your continued support and pledges. This is a special project we know you will love, so let's sail forward and create FJORD SERPENTS - Vikings at War together. 

Second, we will endeavour to produce the Drakkar and Knarr stretch add-ons. So, if you were uncertain about these items, they are safe to keep on your pledge and also to add to your pledge if so inclined. We will aim to have these included with the main pledge delivery but will keep you updated on all progress.

Hi Backers, 

Thank you so much for getting the project to where it currently is. We are so close to our funding goal, but feel we need to rally the shield wall to help get Fjord Serpents - Vikings at War over the line. We still have just under a week, and only a few thousand $ left to fund at 83% (as I write this). 

I would ask that if everyone can please share the project to their friends, game groups, shops, or interested parties, this would greatly help on this end stretch. 

If you would like to further support, please consider:

- Spreading the word about the Kickstarter campaign

- Upgrading pledge level

- Add-ons to your pledge

- Finding a friend and upgrading your pledge to Jarl Rivals to both get a cheaper rate

- Holding onto your current pledge until the end date

We have revised our original stretch goals, so that those loyal backers that stick with Fjord Serpents - Vikings at War to the end can get this extra value out of their pledge. They will also have access to the Heroes & Kings expansion pack add-on as a minimum. 

Stretch goals have been reorganised into an order we feel is most important to the project as it stands and feel that most are still totally achievable. 

We would like to ask that all current backers please stick with us. Fjord Serpents - Vikings at War is so close to being funded, and we have nearly 700 project followers who will boost our pledges in the last 48 hours of the project.  This, in addition to your support and that of organic backers between now and then, will see the project to funding success and beyond. 

You are vital to the success of the project, and we thank you for your continued support.
